🧠 Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a widely researched and highly effective approach that helps clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. It’s grounded in the idea that our thoughts, feelings, and actions are interconnected. CBT is evidence-based and particularly effective for anxiety, depression, and stress-related issues, empowering clients to develop healthier ways of thinking and coping.

💛 Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)

EFT is a scientifically supported approach that helps clients understand, regulate, and transform their emotional experiences. It views emotions as key to identity and guides clients to access deeper emotional truths to create lasting change. EFT is especially effective in improving relationships, resolving internal conflicts, and helping clients feel more connected to themselves and others.

👁️ Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR is a powerful, evidence-based therapy for individuals experiencing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, or distressing memories. It uses guided eye movements to help the brain process and reframe traumatic experiences. Research shows that EMDR can bring relief faster than traditional talk therapy, helping clients heal and move forward with greater emotional resilience.

✊ Feminist Therapy

Feminist therapy centers the client’s lived experience, particularly as it relates to gender, power, identity, and social context. It emphasizes equality in the therapeutic relationship and actively challenges oppressive systems that contribute to distress. This evidence-supported approach works well for clients who want to explore how their intersecting identities affect their mental health and seek empowerment and self-advocacy in the healing process.

🛡️ Trauma-Informed Care

Trauma-informed therapy isn’t a technique, but a framework that recognizes and responds to the widespread impact of trauma. It integrates principles like safety, empowerment, and choice into the therapeutic relationship. Evidence supports that when therapy is trauma-informed, clients are more likely to feel safe, stay engaged, and experience meaningful growth.

🎯 Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

SFBT is a short-term, goal-oriented therapy that emphasizes clients’ strengths and resources rather than dwelling on problems. Backed by strong clinical outcomes, it helps individuals identify what’s working in their lives and build on that success. This approach is especially effective for clients looking for practical strategies and positive change in a short timeframe.
